Actor will shoot at 8 educational institutes in Delhi in Jan for his next, which will wrap-up with a song shoot in Mussoorie

Shahid Kapoor, who has been shooting for Kabir Singh, the Hindi remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy, is gearing up to resume shoot on January 3 after the New Year’s break. The upcoming schedule will kick off in Delhi and the team will be filming the 37-year-old actor’s college portions. Now, sources close to the development have informed that the film’s team will be shooting at as many as eight different colleges across the Capital as part of the schedule.

“Shahid will be shooting in Delhi for a 25-day schedule with his leading lady Kiara Advani, for which he will be sporting a new look that comprises a short crop and trimmed beard. Out of the eight colleges booked for the schedule, one will be used to film football portions, another for classroom scenes, the third one for canteen scenes and so on,” the source revealed, adding that Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who had directed the Telugu original and is making his Bollywood debut with its Hindi remake, finalised the educational institutes recently after a recce.

After the Delhi schedule, Shahid and Kiara will move to Mussoorie by January-end for a five-day romantic song shoot, which will also mark wrap-up for the film.
