MUMBAI MIRROR (December 17, 2018)

Aanand L Rai’s upcoming directorial venture Zero features the affable chemistry between two friends— Shah Rukh Khan’s Bauua and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub’s Guddu.

While the onscreen chemistry between the two actors has been pleasing the audience ever since the teaser and songs of the film were released, it is a lesser-known fact that Shah Rukh and his new co-star share a close bond in real life as well.

Zeeshan, who hails from Meerut, helped Shah Rukh adopt the mannerism and accent of his screen character which is also based in the city. The young actor would interact with the superstar in the accent, which helped the latter in grasping it more efficiently. Incidentally, Shah Rukh and Zeeshan have earlier played friends in last year’s Raees and won hearts with their close camaraderie.

Meanwhile, the Zero trailer has piqued the interest of the audience with glimpses into its strong characters and interesting performances.

The film, which marks SRK’s first collaboration with Aanand, showcases the leading man as the vertically challenged Bauua, Anushka Sharma as Aafia, a scientist living with cerebral palsy, and Katrina Kaif as a Bollywood superstar named Babita Kumari.

Zero is a Christmas release and also one of the most anticipated films of this year.

Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions come together to bring the film. Produced by Gauri Khan, featuring Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan, the Aanand L Rai directorial is set to release on December 21.
