Rohit Shetty who is filming his action comedy, the Christmas release Simmba, in Goa has made arrangements to fly out his film’s leads, Ranveer Singh
and Sara Ali Khan, along with the rest of the cast and crew to Mumbai
on November 7. This is to ensure that they can bring in Diwali with
family and friends at home.
The action comedy kicked off in Hyderabad, followed by a schedule in Switzerland where the lead pair shot a song. Next up, they moved to Mumbai before flying to Goa a few days ago.
Ranveer took a day’s break for his haldi ceremony at his Bandra residence on Sunday before reuniting with the team. The shoot wraps up on November 10 just ahead of Ranveer and Deepika Padukone’s nuptials on November 14–15.
A source from the sets reveals, “Rohit has chartered a small aircraft to ferry his team to the city for the festival. The plane will fly them back to Goa the next day.”
While Rohit remained unavailable for comment, the news was confirmed by the film’s spokesperson.
