A lazy winter morning, a sleeping Farhan Akhtar being roused by Priyanka Chopra, under a mosquito net on the romantic roofs of Purani Dilli — this was the scene being played out in Chandni Chowk’s Kabaadi Market as the two actors shot for The Sky Is Pink on Saturday. The film also stars Zaira Wasim and is directed by Shonali Bose. PC and Farhan were shooting in Chandni Chowk for several days, and on Saturday, Priyanka’s mom joined her from Jodhpur, where she was prepping for her daughter’s wedding to Nick Jonas on December 1. The mother-daughter duo left for Paris soon after.

The two actors haven’t been immune to Purani Dilli’s charms while shooting there, and Priyanka has been seen ordering her daily chaat fix from the bylanes’ famous chaat vendors; while for Farhan, regular deliveries are carried out from Kareem’s. Also, due to the crowded location, no vanity vans have been stationed in the area.
