On Friday, Deepika Padukone kicked off celebrations for her November 14–15 nuptials with Ranveer Singh in her hometown, Bangalore, with a Nandi pooja, in a Sabyasachi salwar-kameez. Ranveer is in Goa shooting for the last leg of Rohit Shetty’s cop comedy Simmba with Sara Ali Khan. The wedding is expected to be a private affair with just family and close friends.

Meanwhile, invites have gone out to guests for the reception. It will be held in Mumbai on December 1.

Mirror had earlier reported (October 22) that a Delhi-based wedding planner has been roped in for the shaadi which will be preceded by sangeet on November 13.
