(Crisp) Movie Review: BORDER by FENIL SETA

Border is Sweden‘s official entry
to the Oscars this year. It’s a story of a customs officer with an
‘ugly’ facial structure and how her life changes when she bumps into a
mysterious traveller. This 108 minute film gets a bit
predictable but is highly engrossing. The story is very well put
together and the bond shared by the principle characters is something to
watch out for. Eva Melander is an actor to watch out
for. I had never seen her film before and was surprised to see her non
prosthetic look in real. Same goes for Eero Milonoff. Here’s hoping this film reaches out to many people across borders (pun intended)!
My rating – **** out of 5!
