Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh may have yet to team up professionally, but personally, the two actors are buddies. Now, the Khiladi and Khilji are set to take their camaraderie to Karan Johar’s chat show.

Mirror has learnt that the duo will shoot for an episode of Koffee With Karan in its sixth season at a Mumbai studio today. According to a source close to the development, “Ranveer has a lot of respect for his senior and is really kicked about facing the camera with Akshay for the first time.”

KJo has roped in another hit jodi, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. Their recently released horror comedy, Stree, is still making the box-office jingle, and the two actors have formed a mutual admiration society since they were signed for the film. Shooting will take place in the next few days.

Another jodi making their debut on Karan’s show is rapper Badshah and singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. They have delivered hit songs like “Proper Patola” in 2013, which has now been recreated for Namaste England, and “Move your Lakk” last year, for Noor.

As Mirror had earlier reported (September 26) Janhvi Kapoor will team up with brother Arjun Kapoor as well. The opening episode will feature Alia Bhatt with Deepika Padukone.
