ANDHADHUN has emerged a HIT film as it collected around the 3 crore nett mark on its second Friday. The collections are better than the first day and the seventh day. The film jumped around 20% from yesterday and has taken its nine day total to around 29 crore nett.

The film was helped out by the poor new releases which meant ANDHADHUN had little competition and whatever competition there was actually came from the holdover VENOM rather than any new film. VENOM is an AVERAGE fare as it collected 1 crore nett apprx on its second Friday and it should cros the 30 crore nett mark in its lifetime run.

ANDHADHUN is set for a strong run and is sure to run till Diwali. The film is being liked by the metro audience and these films easily have the potential to get 50 lakh people into the theatres even without a cast. Some like NEERAJ get upto 70 lakh plus but that was with the help of tax exemptions. ANDHADHUN saw only 22-23 lakh footfalls in week one so there is huge scope in the next few weeks to more than double up which should see the film go over 60 crore nett at least.
