After entertaining audiences alike with his directorial and acting prowess, Farhan Akhtar is all set to release his first-ever English album Echoes on January 25, 2019. The versatile writer-actor-director-singer has been working on it for the past 15 months and has penned the lyrics, too. What started off as mere thoughts that he scribbled on a page has now evolved into an 11-song album, which has been recorded in Milan and produced by Grammy winner Tommaso Colliva. The first single titled Rearview Mirror released yesterday.

Farhan, who made his acting as well as singing debut a decade ago, has been an avid musician. He has performed at multiple concerts over the years. Currently, he is on a #SELF tour in the US along with celebrated music composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. On the work front, he is riding high on the success of his production Gold and has also finished the first schedule of The Sky Is Pink in which he stars alongside Priyanka Chopra. Gully Boy, which is being presented by him, releases next year.
