BATTI GUL METER CHALU fell on Monday as it collected 2.75-3 crore nett on Monday. The fall is more than 50% from Friday but it was Muharram on Friday which gave collections a 15-20% boost. So in real value the drop is a little less than 50% but the important factor is that the collections are only around 3 crore nett when the film needed to be 4 crore nett.
The collections of the film are now 24.50 crore nett and will finish the week around 32 crore nett. The film had good non theatrical revenue which had covered 60% of the investment and despite theatrical business being poor it should cover the rest. Its a given that with satellite and digital the film will not face losses despite doing poor at the box office and this has happened with many films this year.
The first four day collections of BATTI GUL METER CHALU are as follows.
Friday - 6,25,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 7,25,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 8,00,00,000 apprx
Monday - 3,00,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 24,50,00,000 apprx
MANTO collected 35 lakhs nett on Monday which is a 20-25% drop from day one. As the collections were so low on Friday there is always a chance of a minimal drop on Monday but its irrelevant as collections are just 35 lakhs nett.
The first four day collections of MANTO are as follows
Friday - 45,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 70,00,000 apprx
Sunday - 80,00,000 apprx
Monday - 35,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 2,30,00,000 apprx
