SATYAMEVA JAYATE has emerged a HIT film as it grossed 66 crore nett apprx in the first week is a good total for the the film. The film has grossed more than any John Abraham solo release in just nine days. The best before was PARMANU at 65 crore nett but there is a huge difference in the shares of the film with SATYAMEVA JAYATE likely to be at a share of 34 crore while PARMANU was not even 29 crore.

The film has shown a very strong holiday on Thursday with collections at a similar level to Monday and its also the first time in the first nine days that it has collections at a similar level to GOLD. This would actually indicate that the film could do better than GOLD in week two but its possible that GOLD will still be number one choice for the crucial weekend audience.
