Director Sajid Khan gets ready to take his upcoming directorial to Jaisalmer and Ranthambore for its second schedule on September

After wrapping up the first schedule of Sajid Khan’s Housefull 4 in London last month, actors Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda and Chunky Panday are headed to Rajasthan on September 1 for a month-long shoot during which the team will also shoot a lavishly mounted song that delves into the past life of its characters. In London, the team had filmed the modern-day portions of the story. Now, all the past life portions in the film, which follows a non-liner narrative, will be shot in the state of palaces.

A source associated with the Sajid Nadiadwala production told Mirror that they will be filming in Jaisalmer and Ranthambore. “A solo number, choreographed by Farah Khan, at historical locations in Ranthambore that will be picturised on Akshay for over two-three days. Sajid (director Sajid Khan) has been on a recce in Rajasthan for the past few weeks and the team has been working on creating rustic looks for the cast who will be from the times when kings ruled.”

The comedy-caper’s final schedule will be shot in Mumbai where work on the set has already begun. The film should wrap up by October-end or November. Sajid, who had directed the first two instalments, is returning to the franchise after being replaced by Sajid–Farhad for the third film.
