Next month when Kartik Aaryan travels to Gwalior for Luka Chuppi, it will be a sweet homecoming for him. After all, the actor hails from the city and this will be the first time he will shoot a film there.

Says a source, “Kartik begins filming the Dinesh Vijan production, which is directed by Laxman Utekar, from August 1. He plays a Mathura-based reporter in the romcom and the team will begin their start-to-finish schedule in Gwalior. As part of his prep, he will also work on his dialect in order to make his on-screen character look more authentic.”

Our source adds that the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor’s family is ecstatic as they will get to spend quality time with him. “Kartik will be there for a month-and-a-half. So, every day after the shoot, he can be with his near and dear ones. His father is his biggest fan. He is excited and will even go to the airport to receive his son.”
