Just like his courtship with Sonam Kapoor and their subsequent nuptials, Delhi boy Anand Ahuja’s 35th birthday on Monday was a visual treat.

“To the love of my life and the kindest and gentlest soul I know… You make my world better,” the actress marked the day with another picture of them together and a message to go along with it.

Meanwhile, patriarch Anil hung out with his son-in-law and an array of celebratory cakes (left), exclaiming, “You are already having a hell of a year!” The youngest Kapoor sibling, actor Harshvardhan, rejoiced at the opportunity of finally getting to post a snap of the couple long after he had clicked it. “One of my favourite pictures that I have captured… London (sic),” he said.

But the most innovative of the lot was filmmaker-stylist Rhea, who got her sneaker fiend brother-in-law a gigantic shoeshaped cake. “I didn’t know what shoe you really wanted so we just made you one we were sure you didn’t have,” she said cheekily.

This party sure belongs to a tastefully done mood board, no?
