After wrapping up the US schedule of Aanand L Rai’s Zero, during which he fi lmed in the US Space and Rocket Centre in Alabama with co-stars Anushka Sharma and R Madhavan, Shah Rukh Khan headed for a vacation to Barcelona with wife Gauri and kids Aaryan, Suhana and AbRam. While Gauri has moved on to the Big Apple, the 52-year-old actor returned home on June 25 to kick off the film’s last schedule.

SRK, who has been cut down to size as he plays an always-happy dwarf in the film, was spotted at Marine Drive shooting on Monday night. As he scurried down the flyover, his fans went into a tizzy, overwhelmed to see their Badshah from up close.

It was a night shoot which went on till the early hours of the next morning, while Shah Rukh’s vanity van remained parked by the beach. Spotlights and flashbulbs popped as the film’s protagonist, unperturbed by the huge waves dashing against the promenade, got into action.

Shah Rukh’s other leading lady Katrina Kaif, who brought in her 35th birthday with her family in the UK on Monday, is expected to join him soon for a last song.
