TOILET - EK PREM KATHA had a fair hold on Monday dropping 45% from Friday and is a plus film in China. The hold is not great that is going to sustain over weeks but that was always likely with film not having much for the female audience. The hold is good enough for the film to clear $14-15m and make money for its distributors. The total in four days is $10.35m apprx.

The numbers are still decent for the type of film and now with Akshay Kumar being introduced to the market it could lead to better results for PAD MAN as that film has potential to find a large female audience. A strong run would have really boosted that film but it was not to be. There is also HICHKI to release and that film also will have huge potential as it is a female driven film.
