BLACKMAIL could not do much on Saturday as it collected in the 3.25-3.50 crore nett range which is growth of around 30-35% but for these type of films it is far too less. This was on the cards as the film did not get that push on Friday evening at the metros which it should of considering it is for that audience.
Some films record very strong business on Saturday without the Friday lift in metros but it was not to be the case with this film. The growth is very moderate and it will probably face an uphill struggle at the box office. A film like BAAGHI 2 has grown more in metro centers as compared to a BLACKMAIL which pretty much tells the story as the metro audience is not the the target audience of that film.
The first two day collections of BLACKMAIL are as follows.
Friday - 2,50,00,000 apprx
Saturday - 3,35,00,000 apprx
TOTAL - 5,85,00,000
The weekend of BLACKMAIL could struggle to hit the 10 crore nett mark which is not much better than a MADAARI (2016) which was another Irrfan Khan which collected 9.27 crore nett in its first weekend but on 975 screens compared to the 1500 of BLACKMAIL.
The only hope is big growth of 40% plus on Sunday but with the reports and dark theme which hold little interest for families it would be a huge surprise if that happens on Sunday.

As someone guiltily, totally fascinated with the age of sail and stories of discovery and exploration, this series was definitely a 'must see' like a World Cup is for a seasoned football fan. watch happy death day
Among movies and series dealing with this backdrop there are as many hits as there are misses. Among the hits I would consider such movies as 'Master and Commander' or the 2015 Dutch production 'Admiral'. Among its many misses the Anglo-Saxon centered, dubiously motivated 'Black Sails' and, of course, the whole 'Pirates of the Caribbean' franchise. devil's candy
The Terror for sure ranks among the hits, it might even very well set a new bar in the genre. This series tells the tale of the HMS Terror and HMS Erebus, which have embarked on a voyage of discovering an Arctic route to India which is quick to go awry. Based on a true story, its only fiction leans on introducing a mysterious monster which serves by ways of analogy to the darker nature that resides within all of us when desperation hits. watch Avengers Infinity War online free
Past this fiction all the characters are incredibly nuanced and well thought-out. Both CiarĂ¡n Hinds and Jared Harris more than carry their weight as the lead roles and the ships' respective captains. Jared Harris' performance in particular deserves praise and mentioning as the alcoholic captain of the Terror. A brooding, pessimistic, rejected and dejected captain and would-be in-law of his superior. A superior who, he literally warns, is embarking on a story of hubris.
