Whether it’s for young guns like Varun Dhawan (Shanivaar Raati in Main Tera Hero, 2014), Ranbir Kapoor (Channa Mereya in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, 2016) or Shah Rukh Khan (Gerua in Dilwale, 2015), Arijit Singh has sung a number of chartbusters for the biggest names in Bollywood. Now, the playback singer, who is hugely versatile, is all set to lend his voice to Amitabh Bachchan for the first time in director Umesh Shukla’s 102 Not Out.
Arijit has rendered Bachche Ki Jaan Loge Kya, which has been picturised on Big B. The fun number in the comedy-drama, which releases next month, showcases the relationship between the father-son duo played by AB and Rishi Kapoor.
Umesh says, “Arijit is a youth icon and Mr Bachchan’s character is young at heart. It’s not a lip-sync song, so we decided to get Arijit to sing it.”
