Ileana D’Cruz’s upcoming film, Raid, marks her second collaboration with Ajay Devgn after Baadshaho (2017). Their back-to-back outings have led to rumours that the superstar has also recommended her for his upcoming films, including Total Dhamaal. “I haven’t met anyone for Total Dhamaal, so it’s funny to hear these things,” laughs D’Cruz, adding, “What upsets me is that people put out such malicious rumours. I have tremendous respect for Ajay and he has been nothing but respectful to me.”

In her call-a-spade-a-spade attitude though, D’Cruz accepts that she owes Raid to Devgn. “I have no qualms in saying that the only film he recommended me for was Raid. In fact, Arjun Kapoor [her co-star in Mubarakan] has also recommended a script to me, so it’s not only about one actor,” she points out.
