Before her visit to India, Priyanka Chopra was in Dubai for two days for a global education and skills gala, where she reunited with two actresses who had featured alongside her bestie Meghan Markle in Suits, Sarah Lafferty and Gina Torres, as well as Brit Formula 1 racer, Lewis Hamilton, whom she had met at a recording studio in Los Angeles previously. The actress-producer also shared a picture with former Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, whom she had first met at the 50th anniversary celebrations of an education gala in Boston three years ago. “Now, PeeCee is back in India on a three-day trip to finalise details of her next Bollywood project which will be announced soon,” a source close to the actress told Mirror.

PeeCee’s discussion in Dubai featured three teen survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, who spoke about gun reforms. “I listened to them talk about fighting for gun reform. It was extremely disturbing. This is not what children should be talking about, yet in the reality of our world today, they do. There’s a whole generation of kids we might lose if we don’t get them education,” PeeCee said.

Her UAE trip has also been all about slipping into a food coma and enjoying the sun. “I love living life queen-size and indulging in local food,” she laughed.

By the month-end, PeeCee is expected to head to Ireland to shoot the action-packed finale of her American TV show, Quantico’s third season. Several hi-octane stunts will be filmed over a threeday schedule.
