PADMAAVAT saw huge growth on its second Saturday of 60-65% as it grossed 16.50 crore nett qhich is not far off from the first day collections of the film. The total so far of the film 185 crore nett apprx. The film is doing excellent all over wherever it is playing.

There was hope that the film would be released in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh as it was reported that the main anti group had withdrawn its protests but it was a false alarm as the group has many divisions and main Karni Sena group is still against the film and this is preventing exhibitors releasing the film in the above states.  The business of PADMAAVAT till date is as follows.

PADMAAVAT had a fantastic second weekend of 43.50 crore nett which took its total to 203 crore nett. The film is now the 11th highest grosser of all time and will make more inroads higher in the next few days. The content of the film has worked very well as these sort of collections don't come in second week if the film has not been liked. The controversy has put the collections at a high level in circuits playing and with the film being liked they have held at those high levels.

Its unlikely the film will get a release in Gujarat, Rajasthan or MP and even if it does it is probably too late now to really do business from these states as its missed two weekends. Mumbai circuit is unreal for the film with 70 crore nett already without Gujarat.
