That Richa Chadha is a powerful actor has already been proven by the gritty films that she has done. Now, the actor is all set to display another facet of her artistic nature. After Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Sonakshi Sinha, among others, it is Chadha’s turn to test her singing skills. It has been learnt that the actor, who is a trained singer, has collaborated with singer- music producer Dr Zeus for a single.

A chance meeting at the launch party of Zeus’s single, Woofer, last month set the ball rolling. A source close to the actor revealed, “After the party, they met again at a recording studio last week. Realising that she is inclined towards music, Zeus asked her to record an impromptu song with him. Both, Richa and Zeus, were surprised to see how well it had shaped up and decided to turn it into a single.”

While it is a peppy Punjabi dance number, right up Dr Zeus’s alley, Chadha has sung the aalap in the song. Confirming the development, Chadha’s spokesperson said, “She is exploring this new opportunity. She is a trained singer and wanted to try her hand at singing, but never got a chance due to her work commitments.” The video will be shot next month.
