Ranveer Singh and Aditya Chopra’s last collaboration Befikre may not have worked at the box office, but looks like that hasn’t stopped the filmmaker from wanting to work with the actor again. Apparently, Aditya is now working on his next project with Ranveer in mind. Sources say that the project is expected to take off in 2019.

“Ranveer is in the know of the project and his date diary will be worked out accordingly,” adds the source.

Ranveer, who is a Yash Raj discovery, made his debut with Band Baaja Baaraat (2010), which was produced by Aditya, but directed by Maneesh Sharma. Aditya, who has made all his directorial projects with Shah Rukh Khan —  Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Mohabbatein (2000), Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008) — worked with Ranveer for the first time in Befikre. In a note that Aditya penned before the release of the film, he expressed how impressed he was with Ranveer. The filmmaker has said that the actor’s energy, brilliance, and intellect mirrored that of SRK. It’s not surprising then that he has opted to work with the Gunday actor once again. In fact, Aditya is extremely proud of Ranveer and takes a keen interest in the latter’s career choices.
