MID-DAY (December 25, 2017)

Ajay Devgn ventures into Marathi film production with Aapla Manus. Yesterday, the actor took to social media to make the announcement.

Directed by Satish Rajwade, the social drama stars Nana Patekar, Sumeet Raghavan and Irawati Harshe. It is slated to release on February 9, 2018. In a video shared on Twitter, Devgn says, “My bond with Maharashtra has been strong since birth. I always loved the Marathi language, but after getting married to Kajol, I fell more in love with Marathi culture.”

He also talks about completing 25 years in the industry and even after experimenting with films, scripts and roles, his equation with the audience remains unchanged.

In 2014, Devgn had presented and distributed Ganesh Kadam’s Marathi film, Vitti Dandu, which was written by Vikas Kadam and starred Dilip Prabhavalkar and Mrunal Thakur.
