BOMBAY TIMES (October 9, 2017)

For some time now, speculations have been rife about Aayush Sharma's Bollywood debut. Now, Bombay Times has it confirmed that the good-looking youngster will be launched by his brother-in-law Salman Khan, through his production house Salman Khan Films (SKF).

The yet-to-be-titled film will be helmed by debutant Abhiraj Minawala (former assistant of director Ali Abbas Zafar), who Salman met during the making of Sultan. Previously too, Abhiraj has assisted on a number of films of the production house.

On his part, Aayush has been preparing for his debut for the last three years. He got a ringside view of how the industry functions by working closely with Salman during Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sultan and Tubelight. Apart from learning acting on the sets, he also underwent training in dance and action.

Even Salman was of the opinion that Aayush shouldn't make his debut until he was completely ready. It's only when the superstar felt that the aspiring actor was fully prepared, that he gave the go-ahead on his debut.

We hear that Aayush has already begun attending workshops for his first film. That's not all; once the heroine is finalised, there will be another series of workshops with the lead actors, before the film finally goes on floors. The movie is a love story based in Gujarat.

Confirming the news, Salman says, “Yes, we are producing Aayush's debut film. Shooting will start in February and we'll release the film later in 2018.“
