Call it the after effect of A Gentleman’s dismissal performance at the box office or just a coincidence, but Sidharth Malhotra’s film with Raj Kumar Gupta has now been pushed ahead. Gupta was working on the script for almost a year before he approached Sidharth. The movie, a thriller based on a series of real-life events, was to go on floors at the end of this year. However, now it may begin early next year.
Location woes
Gupta, without naming the location, says, “The location, which we had planned to shoot at is facing major floods. We will now shoot Most Wanted early next year post the shooting of Raid.” Gupta adds that the film needs to be shot in the same state and therefore the crew will have to wait till next year.
Date dilemma
Meanwhile Sidharth’s Ittefaq remake and Aiyaary are lining up for release. He is also likely to take on the role of Late Captain Vikram Batra, who sacrificed his life during the Kargil War in 1999. He is in talks for Race 3, So he has enough films to keep him busy till then.
