Salman Khan recently ditched his ubiquitous denims and tees for white dhoti and kurta for his upcoming reality show, Bigg Boss. The 51-year-old actor was impersonating the late actor-singer-filmmaker Kishore Kumar from the Sunil Dutt and Saira Banu-starrer 1968 musical, Padosan.
A source from the set revealed to Mirror, “Salman will be seen recreating a scene from the iconic movie while singing one of its most memorable songs, “Mere Samne Wali Khidki Mein” in his quirky style and playing a harmonium. In the 11th season, the inmates on the show will have ‘neighbours’. Bigg Boss will bring together a unique mix of people that one typically finds in a locality. The Padosan theme fit the promo video perfectly. It was shot over two days and Salman got the vibe right in a couple of takes.”
Soon after the shoot, Salman flew out to the UK with fellow actors Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonakshi Sinha, Prabhudheva and Sooraj Pancholi, among others, to kick off the Da- Bangg concert tour in Birmingham and London, which starts today. Upon his return, the actor will dive into the show’s shoot in the first week of October, followed by Remo D’souza’s Race 3, which goes on the floors by the month-end and will see him reunite with his Kick leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez.
