(Crisp) Movie Review: BHOOMI by FENIL SETA

Bhoomi comes too late in the day. Audiences have seen films like Kaabil and Mom that were also on the same lines. Hence, the impact of Bhoomi is limited. Moreover, the film is interesting but only at places. The revenge bit takes a lot of time to begin and even then it drags. What works are some of the sequences and also of course, the revenge element as it gives an exhilarating feeling. Sanjay Dutt does a glorious comeback. The manner in which his eyes do the talking is terrific and worth it. Aditi Rao Hydari too puts her best foot forward. Shekhar Suman is strictly okay while the other supporting actors like Sharad Kelkar, Puru Chibber, Veer Aryan and Riddhi Sen do a very good job, especially Sharad. All in all, an average fare and a must for Sanjay Dutt fans!
My rating - ** ½ out of 5!
