BAADSHAHO had an average first week of 54.25 crore nett but these collections came as it got advantage of Eid and post Eid in some circuits. If the film did not get this push then the collections would have been 4-5 crore nett less. The film had to come up with a 60 crore nett plus total in week one but it has fell well short even with the Eid boost. The film will have to hold very well on day eight to get around that 80 crore nett plus final total for average business but that is going to be tough as collections did fall on Wednesday and Thursday as all the circuits came back to normal ratios.

The film has done better in B and C centres but even here the collections cant really be called good. The single screens were the best hope for the film but a mass action film like BAAGHI collected 30% more across all India single screens.  Bihar is best across India with around 2.25 crore nett which is similar to the lifetime business of JOLLY LLB 2 and KAABIL in that circuit.

SHUBH MANGAL SAAVDHAN is on the lower side in week one at 23.25 crore nett but its held up well on the weekdays. There was a fall post Eid on Wednesday and Thursday but it still held at around the 2 crore nett mark on both days. The collections for week one are the same as HINDI MEDIUM which is the only small film to become a HIT this year but the weekday trend of SHUBH MANGAL SAAVDHAN is not as strong as that film. The film should give BAADSHAHO tough competition this week and could even actually go ahead of the bigger film. It is certain to beat the numbers of BAREILLY KI BARFI released a few weeks back but the real task is to get to around the 40 crore nett mark.
