Urvashi Rautela, who had rejected the role in Hate Story 4, has now given her nod for the film. However, the actress is said to have signed on the dotted line only after director Vishal Pandya agreed to tone down the intimate kissing scenes and skin show in the erotic franchise.

According to a source, Urvashi had been approached for the film earlier, but she was reluctant to do the steamy scenes, after which those scenes in the film was toned down. Urvashi confirms, “I have indeed signed on the dotted line for two promising films but I am under contract not to reveal the details,” she said. The actress added that she had refused several offers after Kaabil, because she was looking at roles that would also prove her acting acumen, apart from glamour quotient.

Vishal confirms a different take on the bold and steamy scenes and the sex quotient in the film. “This installment of Hate Story will be different from the earlier ones in terms of the sensuousness and its bold content. That’s because it is based on a real incident and we are targeting a very different audience. Erotica will definitely not be the mainstay of the film, but that doesn’t mean we will not be catering to the audiences of the already established franchise,” he says.
