Shah Rukh Khan who turned up to promote his upcoming film, Jab Harry Met Sejal, on Remo D’souza’s talent hunt show, Dance Plus 3, on Tuesday, was greeted with a medley of his yesteryear hits. There was Dil To Pagal Hai’s “Chak Doom Doom” which immediately sparked off visions of him dancing in the rain with Madhuri Dixit.
Along with the contestants, Remo and the mentors also danced to the title tracks of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein and Fan. Other favourites included the sensual “Suraj Hua Madhyam” from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Dilwale’s romantic number “Gerua” with Kajol.
The Badshah was visibly overwhelmed admitting that only Remo could have visualised such an act. He recently choreographed a special appearance song for Aanand L Rai’s ‘dwarf’ film featuring Salman Khan and him. SRK sportingly tried some Bharat Natyam moves himself.
Later, a lady in the audience taught him how to say ‘I love you’ in Gujarati. He parroted, “Hu tane prem karu chu” and struck the famous Om Shanti Om pose with her. It looks like the actor did not miss his reel life Sejal, Anushka Sharma, who had to beg off as she is filming for her home production Pari.
