TUBELIGHT has grossed 103 crore nett in its first week but saw drops as the post Eid factor started dropping out in various circuits from Wednesday onwards. The collections on Thursday were just 4.25 crore nett. It has still managed the second highest first week of the year after BAAHUBALI 2: THE CONCLUSION (Hindi) but that is irrelevant as the film is collecting much lower than it should. The film has faced rejection and because of that the collections have come down so fast that would not have been seen in an Eid release before. The first week daily collections of TUBELIGHT are as follows.

The second week is going to be scary as even at these low levels, the film is still getting extra collection due to post Eid but that will all go within the next day or two. Then the film will be back to normal ratios and the way it is going the 125 crore nett mark for lifetime business could prove difficult.
