MUNNA MICHAEL has had a poor weekend of around 21 crore nett. The film grossed 8-8.25 crore nett on Sunday which was much higher than the Saturday figure of 6 crore nett apprx. If this Sunday growth can follow through on Monday then the film may be able to have some sort of run. The film has done better business in single screens but the big issue is that multiplexes in A, B and C centres did not perform which are a must for any commercial film.

The footfalls for the film are more than other films taking in 21 crore nett as a large chunk of the business has come from places with lower tickets. It has more footfalls than SACHIN: A BILLION DREAMS which grossed 24.25 crore nett in the first weekend. The first weekend collections of Munna Micheal are as follows

LIPSTICK UNDER MY BURKHA has decent weekend business in terms of its cost. Although the footfalls are hardly there and not many people have seen it, the film is in a good position commercially. The film has an investment of 6 crore and a 2.50 crore share has come in the first weekend.
