Gauri Khan helps decorate Varun Dhawan's bachelor pad

The actor’s mother is taking creative inputs from the celebrity interior designer

Mirror had earlier reported (January 28) that Varun Dhawan has bought a four-and-a-half BHK flat in the same Juhu building where he currently resides with his parents, David and Karuna Dhawan. While the actor is expected to move in around November-end, we have learnt that his interior designer mum has undertaken decorating duties with creative inputs from Gauri Khan, who has previously done up Ranbir Kapoor’s bachelor pad in Bandra.
Earlier this week, Karuna, who is known in the family’s inner circle as Lally, was spotted picking up artefacts from Gauri’s recently-launched store in Juhu, while the latter shared a picture of the Dhawan matriarch from the store.
“Delighted to welcome our first client at our flagship store, as she puts together a great selection for Varun’s new pad. Love your choice Lally!” Gauri captioned the image.
Varun, who has been busy filming for his home production, Judwaa 2, all of this year, also has Abhishek Varman’s yet-untitled, which also features Alia Bhatt, Sridevi, Sanjay Dutt and Sonakshi Sinha, in the pipeline, as also Shoojit Sircar’s untitled next and another film opposite Anushka Sharma. “Despite his tight schedule, Varun has been taking some time off to add personal touches to his pad under mom Karuna’s guidance,” a source close to the 27-year-old actor told Mirror.
Apart from providing inputs, Gauri has reportedly also sourced a lot of trendy stuff from all over the world keeping Varun’s taste in mind.
