Makers of Tiger Shroff’s Munna Michael, which opens today, have had to add a disclaimer at the instructions of Central Board Of Film Certification. The disclaimer reads, “It is hereby notified that the stunts and dance displayed in this film are performed by professionals in controlled environments. Do not attempt to duplicate, re-create, or perform them or similar stunts and dances at home, as personal injury or property damage may result. The producer of this film is not responsible for any such injury or damage.”
Director, Sabbir Khan, informs that when it was screened for the Examining Committee of the Board, the members enquired about the choreographer and the dancers performing, after which they were told to add the disclaimer. “As long as it didn’t affect the creativity of the film, I had no problem,” he says.
There were a few others cuts. Words like ‘ghanta’ and ‘pichwada’ had to be muted, along with sound of bones breaking.
