Anil Kapoor has collaborated with brother, producer Boney Kapoor, in several acclaimed films, including Mr India (1987), Judaai (1997), Pukar (2000) and No Entry (2005). Acknowledging the role that the latter has played in his career, the actor says, “his contribution in my career has been tremendous. He worked hard and we made great films together. We learnt from our father [Surinder Kapoor] to put our blood and sweat into our work. That’s how we are and will be, till we die.”
Talking about his relationship with his siblings — Boney and Sanjay, Kapoor says, “Sanjay is the most decent one among us. I was the naughtiest. Boney and I used to fight a lot and he used to beat me up.”
Kapoor is set to feature alongside his producer-brother’s son, Arjun, in the upcoming comedy, Mubarakan.
The Anees Bazmee-directed film, which also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty, will release on July 28.
