Baahubali writer K V Vijayendra Prasad reveals Deol's next has been shelved since actor is now focussing on beta Karan's Bollywood debut

KV Vijayendra PrasadAfter talks with Akshay Kumar reportedly didn't materialise, writer-director K V Vijayendra Prasad signed Sunny Deol for his patriotic drama earlier this year. However, Prasad, who has penned blockbusters Baahubali 1 and 2 as well as Salman Khan-starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan, informs us that the project has been shelved.

"That film with Sunny isn't happening now; it's shelved. He wants to concentrate on his son Karan's debut," reveals Prasad, who is scripting Goldie Behl's new show, Aarambh.

Last year, there were rumours of Prasad's son and Bahubali director S S Rajamouli helming the project titled Mera Bharat Mahaan. But, his team had clarified that his packed diary wouldn't allow him the liberty until Baahubali 2 hit screens.

As for Sunny, he is busy with Karan's launch pad, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, that he is directing himself. The shoot is currently on in Manali. As per reports, Karan has already signed his second film with producer-director Dinesh Vijan.
