Late last week, Sanya Malhotra took off to Europe for an 18-day break with childhood besties. "Europe had been on my mind since eternity. I thought this would be the right to explore and take a break. The rich culture of the continent calls out to the art lover in me. Europe is full of hidden gems," says Sanya, whose first destination was Amsterdam, followed by Italy shortly.
She is also looking forward to some food adventures. "I've been eating a lot of bread and croissants and love the coffee. I can't wait to sample the cheeses in Italy," she says, adding that she's returning to the Bay in mid-May. "I plan to drown in the trip's aftermath for probably a month."
Anything specific she is looking to check off her list of travel musts? "Ever since we were kids, we'd loved doing things spontaneously," Sanya insists. "My favourite holiday so far was a bike trip to Leh that happened last year after we wrapped up my debut film."
