Amitabh Bachchan may be the original angry young man, and now son Abhishek Bachchan is all set to don the mantle. According to sources, AB Jr is working is expected to return soon in his home production. Word is, he has even worked on the script himself. The film is titled Sanak. Reveals a source, “In the film, Abhishek plays a character with a bad temper. hence, the title.” The actor has some experience in that department, having played raging characters in films like Yuva and Raavan. Abhi’s last few outimgs were comedy films -- All Is Well, Housefull 3, Happy New Year. He had been laying low because he was working on his next.

The actor, we hear, is in talks for six films and will announce them soon. He is said to be in talks with Priyadarshan and Prabhu Dheva, an untitled project with producer Ronnie Screwvala and maybe a film with wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who mentioned to this paper recently, that they have been approached to star in Anurag Kashyap’s Gulab Jamun.
