A sense of hostility crept in between Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn since Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son Of Sardaar clashed at the box office in 2012 — until the two called a truce over dinner in Bulgaria two years ago. The two find themselves competing again; this time round, to attach the trailer of their respective films with Salman Khan’s Eid release, Tubelight. The films in question are Devgn’s action-thriller Baadshaho and sRK’s untitled next directed by Imtiaz Ali.
A source informs, “Tubelight is a big holiday release. It is customary to attach multiple trailers with such films. We will be happy to accommodate both [trailers] if the stars agree to the arrangement.”
When we reached out to Amar Butala, the CEO of Salman’s banner, he confirmed, “The makers of both films have approached us, and we have decided to attach the two trailers with our film.”
