After five years, the two-part Baahubali franchise will come to an end after its release on April 28.

But the excitement around the films refuses to die down. A television series based on the legend of Baahubali is now being planned.

Theme parks, too!
And that’s just the beginning! The most ambitious Baahubali spin-off is a chain of theme parks being planned across the country and overseas as well.

Out in phases
A source from the production confirmed this and added, “The Baahubali theme parks are intended to be incepted in a phased manner. The first phase will see the construction of the Park in Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata, followed by Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kochi and other cities.

Just like Disneyland
“The idea is to make the Baahubali theme park as popular as Disneyland,” says the source.
