Shreya Ghoshal has become the first Indian singer to be inducted at the Madam Tussauds museum.

The 33-year-old musician’s wax figure, striking a singing pose, is set to be showcased at the upcoming Delhi wing of the museum. “I am thrilled to be a part of history here and it is an honour to be featured among such talented stars, artistes, historians and renowned celebrities,” Shreya exulted.

The installation will celebrate her 15-year career. “She was one of the most requested figures for us to include in the attraction,” Anshul Jain, Director of Merlin Entertainments India, said. The museum, which will be housed in the Regal Building, will also have figures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and actors Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
