Madhoo in Sab Theek Hain, a short film, by Rani Mukerji’s brother, Raja

Madhoo, who is best known for her 1992 film Roja, has been doing films down South. Now, hitlist has learnt that she will soon be seen in a short film, Sab Theek Hain, which is directed by Rani Mukerji’s brother, Raja Mukerji.
“The story is about progressive women, and stars Madhoo and Waqar Shaikh. It revolves around a mother and daughter. Madhoo plays the daughter and Praveena Deshpande essays the role of her mother. The film is about sacrifice and patience, and also the fact that once a woman is pushed to her limits, she roars,” says a source.
Apparently, Madhoo had watched one of Raja’s short films, and when she was approached by him, she agreed immediately. Raja has only directed the movie. "It has been produced by my friends Rana and Sheekha Chatterji, who live in Canada,” says Raja, who is taking the movie to 45 film festivals.
