As Huma Qureshi gears up to kick-start her international career with Gurinder Chadha's Brit-Indian production 'Viceroy's House', she seems to have caught the fancy of a few more Westerners. The actress has been roped in as an in-house talent of London-based agency, Troika Talent, which also handles the likes of Michael Fassbender ('12 Years A Slave', 'Steve Jobs' and the 'X-Men' series) and Alan Cumming ('X2' and 'The Good Wife').

A source close to the actress informs, "The agency's top bosses were pleasantly surprised by Huma's work in 'Viceroy's House', also starring Hugh Bonneville ('Downtown Abbey' fame) and Gillian Anderson ('The X Files' fame). When they found out more about her work in India, they were impressed by her choice of films. She has already caught the attention of management bigwigs in Hollywood. The agency saw immense potential in Huma in terms of the scope of work internationally, and is in talks with her for an Italian film."

When we reached out to Huma, she confirmed the news, saying, "There is something interesting in the pipeline but it's too early to talk about it."

The actress will next be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Subhash Kapoor's upcoming film, 'Jolly LLB 2'.
