When you congratulate him, the common man from Haryana congratulates you right back, admitting that his 105-day stay in the house has definitely changed him. “I used to be really short-tempered earlier, but now I've become so patient that even if anyone were to slap me, I would not retaliate,“ asserts the new Gandhian.

For him, the opportunity of being on television for over three months is a bigger reward than any prize money. And being in the spotlight has opened the window to a whole new world. “If I get acting offers, I will take them up,“ he says hopefully, adding that he was always confident of winning but didn't reveal this, aware that the former Roadie, who gave him a tough fight till the last, was really popular. “I just tried to stay cool, held fast to my sanskaar, and made headway with the tasks.“

Now, that they are out of their self-imposed imprisonment, what will happen to his bromance with Manu Punjabi? “He will remain my friend till the end of the world. But for now, I'm looking forward to going back home to my mother's kadhi-chawal. My only complaint against Bigg Boss was that he never fed us well,“ he laughs good-naturedly.
