Alia Bhatt took off to Maldives with dad Mahesh, mom Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen for a five-day break. They return to Mumbai on Thursday night and it'll be back to business for Alia from the following day.

A source told Mirror, “Alia who recently shifted into her new home with sister Shaheen, wanted to take a quick holiday with family before she gets busy with the promotions of her upcoming film, Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The idea is just to chill and spend some family time in Male.“ Last year, she had persuaded her workaholic dad to join them at the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, it's all work and some fun for Sidharth Malhotra. He couldn't take time off so his family has joined him in Bangkok where he's shooting the next film in the Bang Bang franchise. His parents and brother's family arrived at the Thai capital over the weekend and they've been catching up over leisurely dinners after pack-up.
