Aamir Khan has not only sung but also rapped a new version of the track Dhaakad from his film Dangal. The actor has shot for a special promotional video for the same. After Delhi Belly (I Hate You Like I Love You) this is the second time that Aamir has shot for a promotional video for his film.
Says a source, “Aamir has done this for a woman-centric event, which will be telecast on Zee TV. Dhaakad talks about women empowerment and the makers have dedicated it to the daughters of India. When Aamir got to know that the particular event will be acknowledging the women for their efforts, he too wanted to do something special for them. So the actor went ahead and made his version of Dhaakad, to applaud women power and also introduce his on screen daughters Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. Dressed like a rapper, the actor has a certain swag in the video.”
Aamir has earlier crooned for his films Ghulam (Kya Bolti Tu) and Sarfarosh (Is Deewane Ladke Ko). He has also done a spoken-word track in Fanaa (Chanda Chamke), but this is the first time that the actor will be singing an entire track.
