Sonil Dedhia (MID-DAY; November 19, 2016)

A student from Nashik ran away from home to meet the Arjun Kapoor. On Wednesday, when she approached the security guards stationed outside his Juhu home, she was told he was busy shooting and wasn’t returning home for the next few days. Refusing to leave, she waited outside the entire day. Later that night, she curled up under a blanket and fell asleep on the pavement. She stood outside the following day too. When hope waned that evening, she quietly left.

Arjun, who wasn’t aware of the incident says, “I am feeling awful. My driver told me there was a girl who was trying to catch my attention. I’d be happy to meet her. Will someone tell her I am free this week before I start shooting for Mubarakan in Chandigarh next?”
