Ranveer Singh is the first Indian brand ambassador for Switzerland Tourism. He will be a part of the new campaign for 2017 titled, “Nature wants you back!“ On his recent trip to the country, he indulged in ski jumping at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne, sky diving and chocolate making at Funky Chocolate Club in Interlaken. Ranveer, who is crazy about football, visited the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich. He paid a tribute to the late Yash Chopra too at the Yash Chopra Suite (in Victoria Jungfrau) and the Yash Chopra Statue (in Kursaal Garden). The actor said, “Switzerland is so cool. It's a great honour to be the brand ambassador of Switzerland Tourism. I expected the country to be picture perfect and it is. I also got a chance to try out many firsts in my life, from tobogganing on Mt Pilatus to jumping from a helicopter on Jungfraujoch, paragliding over the mountains of Interlaken and wakeboarding on Lake Zurich. I have been left spellbound by this stunning place and I'm already excited about my next trip.“

Claudio Zemp, Director India, Switzerland Tourism said, “We are glad to have Ranveer Singh on board as he is a versatile and an adventurous personality. We would like to showcase a fun-packed holiday experience that lasts a lifetime and ensures that everyone who visits falls #inlovewithswitzerland.“

Ritu Sharma, Deputy Director, Switzerland Tourism India, added, “We are thrilled to have a dynamic person like Ranveer present Switzerland to Indians. He is an ideal choice to show that the country is not only about scenic beauty but also offers many activities and adventures to the younger, more experiential Indian traveller.“
