Kangana Ranaut, who is currently shooting for Hansal Mehta’s Simran in the US, has also started preparing for her next, Ketan Mehta’s biopic on Rani Lakshmibai. As the warrior queen from Jhansi was adept at horse riding, Kangana wants to master the craft. A source close to the actress says that she has enroled for a crash course in Germany to learn horse riding. The country is known for horse riding staycations in Bavaria and the Rhine Valley.

Since the course will require Kangana to spend a lot of time with the horses, she will be staying at a stable, says the source. “The sessions will provide her with an insight about the breeds of horses, their diet, living conditions, the first-aid required for injuries and their grooming techniques. Kangana is keen to learn the craft, so living in a stable is the best way to prepare for the role,” adds the source.

While the actress couldn’t be reached for a comment, her publicist confirmed the news, saying, “Kangana will finish shooting for Simran soon. Post that she will start promoting Rangoon, which releases early next year. Once she is done with the promotions, she will head to Germany (to learn horse riding).”
